"The foundation of all vocal study lies in the control of the breath." G. B. Lamperti

Whatever kind of singer you want to be--whether classical, pop, jazz or "crossover" you always use the same instrument: your voice! Voice is a wind instrument ---- problems occur when you don't use your air and resonance correctly. Balancing your breath with active resonance frees your voice to make the sound you need for performance.

As a teacher, I can diagnose tbe source of poor voice production habits, and give you new habits for optimal performance production. Most importantly, I help you clarify for yourself, how you work,  so you consistently get the sound you need, every time you sing. I guarantee you'll develop a better method that makes sense to you while you become a better singer --- no matter what style of music you want to sing, or where you are in your artistic journey.

Maria Fattore, M.M. has students working professionally in music theater, opera, cabaret and the recording industry. She is an active performer, a member of The New York Singing Teachers' Association (NYSTA) and the director of SONG SALON and serves on the Board of Directors for Joy in Singing. For Ms. Fattore's performance bio, click here.
