SONGSALON invites you to actively participate by hosting an event.
SongSalon hosts provide a clean space with seating for 25- 60 guests, a tuned piano of good quality and serving area for a light refreshment.
Guests are invited by the host, the participating artists or are on the SongSalon audience list. Many excellent performers, with a variety of programs, are available.
Often a song is the first exposure we have to music. There is no substitute for the energy generated and exchanged during a live performance. Electronically reproduced sound cannot generate the immediate experience present in live, acoustic performance.? Intimate concerts featuring singers and a pianist (or other instrumentalist) performing songs is no longer commonly experienced. SongSalon is changing this, one venue at a time. You can become part of the solution to revitalize an appreciation of great music.
