Information for Artists
SongSalon Artists are established collaborative vocal instrumental teams. There is no age limit for artists. SongSalon looks for artists who excel when performing at intimate venues.
SongSalon is not accepting submissions at this time.
(Note: the focus of SongSalon is classical repertoire.)
Submission requirements:
- A recent CD demo (of good quality) containing three contrasting song selections by three different composers
- Artist bios
- Two different sample programs
- An encore list of 5 selections
The Screening committee especially looks for imaginative,innovative programming.
Please include program notes.
All artist teams from the pool of submissions are adjudicated blindly by a panel of industry experts. The 6 top scoring teams are invited to the live audition showcase, open to the public.
